Movie fans, here’s a piece of news that could either come to you as a blessing in disguise or as a curse from beyond, depending entirely on how much you enjoyed James Cameron’s Avatar that is.
Apparently, movie goers ooo-ed and ahh-ed so much during Avatar’s first trip out, that Mr. Cameron felt compelled to rerelease the 3D movie in a special edition. That’s right folks, very soon you’ll be given another chance to relive (or cringe at) the simple life of the tree-dwelling Na’vi in digital 3D glory again.
But what does the special edition have that the original version didn’t, you ask?
Well, brace yourself for this one – eight full minutes of new footage. Yay… we think.
The movie's distributor, Fox, has told us that Avatar: Special Edition will be screening from 26 August onwards, so do jot down that date.
